The ABA consists of many retail businesses, service organizations and professionals, who work together to make the area a better place in which to do business. The association is guided by an elected volunteer board of directors and a strong group of committed people who help the association provide business and community information programs to assist its members in building professional and business goodwill.

The West Chamber Serving Jefferson County exists for the success of business. We support and promote member businesses and provide opportunities for business growth. Because the West Chamber is all about business doing business with business, it is the premier way to meet and develop mutually beneficial relationships with other business people.

To aid in creating a sustainable and balanced community served by a supportive government that provides growth and opportunity; strong partnerships between the City and Business Community; facilitates industrial, business and retail development that enhances the community and focuses on development of meaningful jobs; and generates additional revenue to the City.
